WAYS TO LINK STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

Hello,

During these uncertain times there are ways that we can stay in touch and be involved in our community safely. One way you can create positivity throughout the community is by writing positive messages with chalk on your neighborhoods side walks and streets. The community can consider joining their neighborhood watch to get updated about important information going on. Here are just a couple of ideas that families can do to keep their child entertained and create positivity.

There are also community resources for mental health and emergency housing assistance. Families can visit these links if they ever need help or feel like they need to reach out. We also have information on free meals provided during the pandemic. I will share links and updates for families on information where they can pick those up as well as community food banks.

Also if there is an upcoming school event and we want the community to get involved, I will create a space in the blog to promote the events or learning opportunities. I will attach the blog links to my social media accounts so that it is easy to access the information and get social involvement and hear from the community.
